What is DocPay and how can it help me as a physician?
DocPay is a consulting service to assist physicians with their compensation contract negotiations. We not only provide industry leading benchmarks of where current pay is for you specialty, but we will help you understand how the benchmarks are applied and what you can leverage for additional compensation.
What can I expect to receive to be used in my negotiations?
We will prepare a customized compensation report with appropriate industry leading benchmarks (which includes total compensation, $/wRVU rate, call pay rate, medical directorship rate, suggest appropriate quality metrics) Download a sample report here. We also offer an option to include an attorney review of your contract.
Do you work with midlevel providers (PA/NP/CRNA)?
Yes! We are happy to help you negotiate your compensation and get a better understanding what the appropriate benchmarks are–we even have a reduced rate for midlevel providers since comp models are usually more straightforward.
Is there a discount for GME students?
Yes! Medical school was expensive and residency is not much better. We want to build a long-term relationship with you so we can help you during your first contract negotiation and each one after. We’re happy to offer you $250 off any DocPay services.
Do you use attorneys to help with the review?
Yes, we do have an option to include an attorney review. They will review all aspects of the contract and its language and provide feedback on where you as a physician should seek modification or clarification. And you’re able to ask them additional follow up questions.
What is the average turnaround time for my contract review?
We aim to have your customized compensation report ready within 5 business days. You can then schedule a time at your convenience to review the information with our compensation experts and ask any questions you may have.
